In Hearing out your Own Story…

Nothing beats listening and sharing stories over cups of coffee.

Ideas come in different forms and sometimes come in different ways; most of the times pop up into our minds unexpectedly. It could happen to anyone, everywhere and anytime. Yes, everybody has a way with telling and with words, but expressing them would be trickier. But what is important is to make most of these creative juices flowing and express them in the way we wanted.

I have been looking through blogs and been thinking what if I could make my own blog? After much contemplating, here I am! I have been writing for years; narrate a series of stories about anything and everything in all sorts of paper but one thing is amiss: the writings should reach more to other people. This blog aims (and hope) to reach out to more readers. In a way, the blog will be the venue for expressing my thoughts.

What I have learned are the following: the right mixes of content and design would make the website popular to readers. It should capture the attention of readers, and stays there. Anything that is done and read repeatedly will get you in the rut. Break into monotony and routine by putting innovation and try something new. Presentation is the key. The content should be short, clear and concise. Trying something new would not hurt; instead it will bring in more following.

But what makes a good story exactly? Is it something that a reader can relate to? Or is something would make a good read with a touch of personal experience? Is the buzzword, the popular ones or it could be hearsay, yet interesting and fresh? Or is it something newsworthy? With these technicalities, the more simple ways in telling these stories will bring in its authenticity.

Most of us wanted to hear stories, but remember, as Abraham Hicks said “the story you tell is the basis of your life, so tell it the way you want it to be. What makes it a good one is that we are open to tell to the world the authenticity and the truth in what we do.

Now, let me hear your story.
